Sarah Stockton is a teacher, poet and maker in Los Angeles.

I received a Bachelor of Arts in English writing and a Bachelor of Music in flute performance from DePauw University. I am a poet and a teacher at a public high school in Los Angeles. I am the second-prize winner of the 2018 Martha’s Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing poetry contest. In 2016, I facilitated Unprofessional Development, a series of small collaborative workshops for K-12 teachers, at the Women's Center for Creative Work in Los Angeles.

I am currently creating work that explores relationships, illness, ancestry and other human things.
