Yoga is a self-care practice that is available to everybody.
I offer private yoga instruction to individual and group clients on a sliding-scale basis. No one is turned away for lack of funds.
I also substitute classes at Stronghold Climbing Gym.
Yoga is an eight-limbed, esoteric, holistic practice rooted in Hinduism. A typical yoga class or session includes guidance in physical postures (asana), controlled breathing (pranayama), and meditation (dhyana). Clients are encouraged to explore all eight limbs of the yoga practice, and determine whether a yoga practice is an authentic choice for them.
Benefits of a consistent yoga practice can include increased strength and flexibility, as well as temporary alleviation of mild depression and anxiety symptoms.
Yoga is accessible to everyone, regardless of ability, socioeconomic status, size or identity.
